Shop Foreman

DW Products Cedar Rapids, Iowa *Shop Foreman* DW Products is currently seeking the _Right_ _Candidate_ to fill an _Open Position_ within its Manufacturing_Team_ We are a Contract Manufacturing Company and an ISO Certified Manufacturer of Precision Machined Components utilizing Single & Multi-Spindle Screw Machines, Swiss CNC Screw Machines, CNC Lathes & CNC Milling Centers.
Markets include appliance, automotive, agriculture, defense, truck & bus, building products, RV and many others.
Secondary services offered include broaching, milling, turning, drilling & threading as well as outside services of heat treating, grinding, plating & powder coating.

*This position would consist of any or all, of the following:* Monitoring machine efficiency Maintenance and repairs of shop equipment Quality inspections of manufactured products Workflow designation Staff training Inventory management *Ideal Candidates would have experience with or possess the following:* Strong mechanical background, Associate or Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, knowledge with Swiss CNC Screw Machines, CNC Lathes, CNC Mills & Multi-Spindle Screw Machines.
Having the ability to maintain regular communication with Management.
Being able to provide manufacturing support by conveying customer requirements and expectations.
Having the ability to take initiative, work with limited direction and influence staff, while maintaining healthy relationships.
Excellent team and internal communication skills is key.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook.
*Key Skills and or Knowledge with:* ISO Standards, APQP, PPAP, Blueprint Reading, GD&T, SPC, LEAN, Six Sigma, Strategy Development.
