Collins Aerospace is looking for a Manager Financial Analyst, FP&A within the Military Avionics & Helicopters (MA&H) portfolio to support the Cedar Rapids, IA location.
This position will be the finance focal point for a L3 leader and have regular interaction with the Controller, Business Unit leadership, SIOP, and Sales & Marketing.
This position requires technical financial and accounting skills, along with the ability to understand Income Statement and Balance Sheet relationships.
The position requires the ability to understand how Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Collins Aerospace finance policies apply to current business situations.
Primary Responsibilities Include: Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans.
Prepares forecasts and performs financial modeling to develop recommendations for management.
Perform variance analyses of key business drivers for performance vs.
Plan and Forecast scenarios.
Work cross-functionally with VSL team to assess growth projections for key deliverables such as monthly forecast submissions, Annual Operating Plans (AOP), strategic Long Range Plans (LRP), and other various ad hoc planning initiatives Review, analyzes and interprets financial reports and data to develop observations and preliminary recommendations.
Assist in supporting monthly and quarterly close processes to ensure timely completion and accuracy Complete monthly and quarterly deliverables necessary to support senior management financial reviews Actively involved in developing new reporting tools and initiatives to support changing business needs Participate in special projects including process improvements aimed at improving efficiency and increased data visibility Qualifications/Experience Needed: U.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
