The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will develop, plan, and implement an information technology (IT) strategy that meets the company’s business needs and foundational values, delivers optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security.
Basic Duties: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives, focusing on enhancing efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
Identifying and evaluating the latest technologies, assessing their potential for strategic advantage and business impact.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and practices that drive business value.
Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department; plans ways to execute those goals within the department.
Oversee the IT department, including budgeting, staffing, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
Maintain a secure and reliable IT infrastructure, safeguarding company and customer data against emerging threats.
Assists as top-level contact for end users in determining IS requirements and/or solutions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field and at least 10 years of related experience.
Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems.
Proven leadership, teamwork, project management, communication skills and personnel management required.
Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel overnight.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: This position works in an office environment and may travel to other locations.
There may be times when you may need to go out into the service or warehouse area and will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields).
May, on a continuous basis, sit at a desk for a long period of time; answering telephone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email.
Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs.
